<strong><font color="#0000ff" size="5">أخي الفاضل الأستاذ منذر<br /><br />لست أفهم اعتراضك على Anno وتفضيل Post عليها.<br /><br />أما اقتراحاتك بخصوص السنة الميلادية فلا أظن يعمل به أحد وخاصة في العالم الغربي (وأخص بريطانيا) الذي قد قام بالفعل ومنذ ما يزيد عن عشرة أو خمسة عشرة سنة -وفي كثير من الكتابات وخاصة العلمية الأكاديمية- بإهمال AD و BC تماماً. واستبدالهما بالمختصرين CE (أي Common Era) و BCE (أي Before Common Era)؛ وذلك للشحنة الدينية المرتبطة بالمختصرين BC و AD. مع الأخذ في الاعتبار أن المختصرين الجديدن يؤرخان من نفس الفترة. كذلك كان التخلي للبعد عن المصطلح اللاتيني حيث لا يستخدم اللاتينية أحد في هذا الزمان إللهم إلا الكنيسة الكاثوليكية في تراتيل دينية معينة.<br /><br />أما المختصر AH للسنة الهجرية فاعتبره After Hijra ما دمت لا تستسيغ Anno ، وتكون هكذا تخلصت من Anno ومن الهجاء اللاتيني لكلمة الهجرة.<br /><br />والسلام عليكم</font></strong>

<strong><font color="#0000ff" size="5">أخي الدكتور عبد الرحمن<br /><br />لا نختلف بشأن تأريخ اليهود. ولكن Common Era أصبح يستخدمها كثيرون ويؤرخون من نفس التأريخ الميلادي. فنجد مثلا تاريخ الحرب العالمية أو الثورة الفرنسية أو عصر الملك جيمس ... إلخ، وبعده CE فلا يمكن أن يكون التأريخ هنا تابعاً لطريقة التأريخ اليهودي من بداية العالم.<br /><br />إن من رفضوا ويرفضون في العصر الحديث استخدام AD إما يهملونها تماماً أو يتبعونها بالمختصر CE ليسوا من اليهود فقط. بل منهم ملحدون أيضاً، أو نصارى بحكم الثقافة، أو علمانيون، أو حتى أناس عاديون نأوا بالتأريخ عن ارتباطاته الدينية. بل واذكر الآن أن Jeremy Munday في كتابه Introducing Translation Studies يستخدم CE في تأريخه. وبغض النظر عن كونه يهودياً أم لا فهو لم يقم سوى باستبدال AD إلى CE . وأنا أضرب به المثل هنا لأن هذا كتاب في الترجمة فقد يكون متوفراً عند الكثيرين من المهتمين فيسهل النظر فيه. والحقيقة أن غيره كثيرون.</font></strong>
